Arkansas trout waters are mostly tailwater fisheries. Therefore,
guides need to be extremely versatile to successfully fish
all the conditions necessary to catch trout. Our operation
also offers some of the best freshwater striper action in
America.
Waters fished:
White River, North Fork River, Little Red River, Lake Norfork
(All in north central Arkansas)
Season: Year-round
season
Fishing conditions: Trout good year-round;
Stripers good in Spring
Type of fishing:
Fly fishing, wade or float; private instruction available.
Equipment provided: Orvis
rods, flies, boat, motor
Game fish:
Rainbow trout, Brook trout, Brown trout, Cutthroat trout,
Stripers, Bass
Daily fishing hours:
8 to 10 hours, starting about 7:30 a.m. May be adjusted according
to water conditions or client’s needs.
Shore lunch:
Sandwiches, chips, cold drinks or hot meals at the local
café.
Pick-up service:
Provided from Baxter County Regional Airport (Mountain Home).
For non-anglers:
Ozark Folk Center, Blanchard Springs Caverns, antique shopping,
hiking, horseback riding, water sports galore, swimming, scuba-diving,
waterskiing, jet ski rentals.
